Preseason Sweep

Preseason Game 4: Good Guys 2 - Bad Guys 1 (Bell Centre)
When the Patriots can't beat the Bills and the Red Sox just don't know how to play baseball, I'll take even more enjoyment in a Bruins victory over the Habs.  So what if it's a preseason game, the B's have beaten the Habs on back-to-back nights.

Tuukka got his second start of the preseason tonight for and didn't disappoint us, collected 31 saves in the victory.  Another positive sign was the power play scored again, this time from Seguin.  Man I want to see him on the first unit pretty damn badly.  When was the last time the power play scored in 3 straight games, 2003!?

We got some serious competition going on between some forwards and dmen.  Both Caron and Clark (1 G) had solid games on the forward front.  My question is why do we assume it has to be one of these two?  If they are playing better than Paille and/or Pouliot, why can't they go?  We'll keep an eye here.

Another one that continues to develop is for the 7th defenseman between Kampfer and Bartkowski.  Both had solid games again last night.  If they both prove they should be in the bigs, do one of them get traded?  Or does one of the big boys (Boychuk) get traded?  The plot thickens...
